I. Introduction

Cancer is not a disease that is lightweight. The first step in the treatment of the disease cancer detection is properly that the symptoms that appear on the patient's body is really a malignant cancer cells. This detection can be done by examination of the biopsy, so step treatment can be done quickly and accurately. The next step is treatment with conventional therapy. But in fact the treatment this way often cancer could not be overcome in total. This is where the role of medicinal plants/herbs.

The number of cancer sufferers in Indonesia is not known for certain, but the increase from year to year can be proven as one of the leading causes of death. Only a few cancers that can be treated satisfactorily, especially if left untreated while still early stage. The success of the treatment is largely determined by the type of cancer, stage of cancer, the General State of the sufferer, and the efforts of sufferers to recover.

Cancer Cancer is a disease caused by the growth of tissue cells that are not normal. Cancer cells will evolve quickly, uncontrolled, and will continue to divide ourselves, then infiltrate surrounding tissues (invasive) and continues to spread through the connective tissue, blood, and attack vital organs and nerves of bone rear. Under normal circumstances, the cells will only be splitting if any replacement cells that are dead and damaged. Instead of cancer cells will divide continues even though the body does not need it, so the new cells buildup will happen called malignant tumor. That cell buildup urgent and damaging normal tissue, thus disturbing the current organ. Cancer can occur in various tissues in various organs in every body, starting from the feet to the head. When cancer occurs at the surface of the body, will be known and easily treated. But if it occurs in the body, the cancer that's going to be difficult and sometimes have no symptoms. If symptoms arise, usually already advanced stage so difficult to treat.

Difference of Tumor and cancer

There are two kinds of tumor that is malignant tumors and benign tumors. Benign tumors only grew and enlarged, not too dangerous, and not spread to the outside network. While cancer is a malignant tumor that grows quickly and uncontrolled and damaging other tissue.
