What is the disease tumor Wilms?
Wilms Tumor is a tumor that commonly occur in children and usually attack the kidneys of the patients. This tumor include 5% of all tumor that strikes children under 5 years. Usually the Tumor Willms is a part of the syndrome. Willms tumors are part of the WAGR syndrome i.e. Willms tumors, Aniridia (absence of the iris in the eye), Genitourinary Anomalies (Abnormalities of the genito-urinary), and mental Retardation. Therefore, all patients with tumor symptoms should be checked willms also congenital problems of the others. The cause of this tumor is Willms genetic problems. Supposedly there are mutations in the WT1 gene on chromosome 11 p and also a 15.5 increase the risk you are exposed to tumors in the kidneys. If you suspect this Willms tumor, you should consult a doctor. The doctor will conduct a follow-up inspection in the form of inspection of the abdominal rontgent. In addition, the doctor will do an examination of rontgent chest and examination lab for erecting a diagnosis.
